Houston is a mellow, affectionate kitty who spends most of his day curled up in cozy spots, living his best nap life. He’s a true cuddle bug who loves gentle pets and being near his humans, he’s happy just being close by.
His Story:
Houston got his name from the place and moment that changed his life. He was found stranded on the left shoulder of I-45, one of the most dangerous freeways in the country, during weekday rush hour in Houston, TX. It’s nothing short of a miracle that he survived such a traumatic experience. Despite what he’s been through, Houston is incredibly calm, resilient, and full of love.
When he first arrived at his foster home, he was unsure of the resident dogs, but with time and a safe environment, he has blossomed and now enjoys living peacefully among them. He’s also great with other cats and gentle with children.
This sweet boy is also a talker. Houston meows to communicate his needs, usually a snack, some affection, or both. His favorite times of day are breakfast and dinner, and he’ll make sure you know it.

The adoption fee is $360. It covers all vetting such as core vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, flea and tick prevention, combo testing, microchip, health certificate, and transportation costs.
